About the project
Merrion Medical Aesthetics are a busy aesthetic clinic in Toronto who also sell premium health and skincare products through their website.
They engaged us to consolidate their digital stack and align the website with their operational needs. Our focus was on platform consultancy, a workable SEO strategy, and the evaluation and integration of CRM and booking software to support online appointments, automated SMS/email reminders, and a smooth client experience.
Key Contributions:
- Platform Consultancy & Roadmapping:
- Ran requirements workshops covering online bookings, practitioner schedules, multi-location support, product sales (where relevant), and reporting.
- Evaluated platform options and integration patterns (native apps vs. API/webhooks) to unify content, bookings, and customer data.
- SEO Strategy & Technical Foundations:
- Built an SEO plan around services and location: keyword mapping, site architecture, and internal linking.
- Implemented on-page standards (titles, meta descriptions, headings, alt text) and structured data (Organization/LocalBusiness, Product/Service, FAQ where applicable).
- Sitemap submission, robots directives, canonical strategy, performance and image optimisation, and local SEO signals (location pages, reviews).
- CRM & Booking Software Consultancy & Integration:
- Selected and integrated a booking system supporting real-time availability, deposits, and multi-practitioner calendars.
- Connected CRM for the full client lifecycle: intake forms and consents, segmentation, and data-compliant communications.
- Configured automated reminders and follow-ups: SMS/email appointment confirmations, reschedule/cancellation flows, and post-visit sequences.
- Enabled two-way calendar sync for staff and basic dashboarding for bookings, show rate, and repeat visits.
- Website Design & Build:
- Built a clear, mobile-first site structure with decisive calls to book appointments or browse the online store
- Used reusable content blocks to keep updates efficient, with attention to accessibility and trust signals (bios, credentials, affiliations).
- Product & Catalogue Setup (where applicable):
- Structured product lines, variants, and content for consistency across the catalogue and alignment with service pages.
- Standardised imagery, specs, and SEO fields to improve discovery and conversion.
Outcome:
The clinic now has a unified platform that supports online bookings with automated SMS and email reminders, a connected CRM for compliant client communications, and an SEO framework designed to improve local visibility and conversions. The result is a cleaner operational workflow and a smoother experience for patients booking online.
