About the project
From zero visibility to #1 in the Galway market.
Galway Braces is a specialist clinic known for excellent patient care, but they lacked a digital presence to match. Doghouse Media was brought in to build a professional home for the practice and, more importantly, to ensure they could actually be found by patients online.
The Challenge
Despite their clinical reputation, Galway Braces had no search engine ranking for their core services. In a competitive local market, they were essentially invisible to new patients searching for orthodontic care in the west of Ireland.
What We Did
Modern Branding & Design: We gave the practice a fresh, professional look. Using clean layouts and high-quality photography, we ensured the site felt both clinical and welcoming for parents and adult patients alike. We introduced professional staff photography to ensure the digital experience felt as warm and approachable as a face-to-face visit to the practice.
Web Development: We built a fast, mobile-friendly website that makes it easy for users to understand their treatment options—from a child’s first assessment at age 8 to discreet adult braces.
Search Engine Success: We implemented a focused SEO strategy designed to dominate the local market. We moved away from industry jargon and focused on the terms real patients use when looking for help.
The Result
The impact was game-changing. Having previously had no search engine ranking at all, Galway Braces now ranks #1 in Google for their primary search terms, including “Orthodontist Galway” and “Braces Galway”.
The practice has successfully transitioned from a hidden gem to the most visible orthodontic specialist in the region, seeing a significant increase in direct inquiries and new patient consultations.
