01 · The brief
Dynamic and Ted Baker
Dynamic is a retail design and construction management firm that designs and builds stores around the world, including stores for Ted Baker. Fitting out a store involves many trades working to the same plans, so Dynamic wanted a series of films that shows the shop installers, step by step, how each part of an installation is done.
02 · What we made
A technical shoot over several days
The shoot ran over several days at Dynamic’s Retail Academy in Dublin and was highly technical. We followed the installation as it was built and filmed the detail of each stage, from free-standing fixtures and signage to transformers, wiring and the finishing works. The series runs to more films than the three shown here, one for each stage, with on-screen text naming every step. We planned the filming so an installer can see exactly what is being done and in what order.
