01 · The client
The home of Guinness, open to its neighbours on a Thursday night
The Guinness Storehouse sits at St. James’s Gate in Dublin 8, in the middle of the brewery where Guinness has been made since 1759. Most of the people who walk through its doors are visitors to the city.
In summer 2026 it ran Thursday Night Social, an evening built for Dubliners instead. Every Thursday in July and August from 6pm, a local ticket covered entry, a pint, DJ sets in the Gravity Bar, food trucks in the Cobble Yard and traditional music in Arthur’s Bar.
The Storehouse needed short films for its own social channels that would bring locals in on a weeknight, and that would make sense with the sound off in a fast-moving feed.

02 · What we made
Five short films, made for a phone screen
We filmed across the Storehouse over the summer and delivered five vertical films, each between 20 and 31 seconds long.
Three follow the food trucks that set up in the Cobble Yard for Thursday Night Social: Hawker, The Salty Buoy and Artybaker. The other two carry the rest of the summer season: the new summer collection in the Storehouse shop, and the summer menu at the 1837 Bar & Brasserie.
The films lead with the food, the room and a single line of text, so each one is clear in the first second, with or without sound.
They ran on the Storehouse’s own social channels through July and August 2026, while Thursday Night Social was on, alongside the weekly posts announcing each Thursday’s DJs and food trucks.
